Questions, answered first

What clients ask me

What is dermaplaning and what does it remove?

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliating treatment that lifts away dull surface skin and fine facial hair with a sterile, single use blade. Skin feels smoother immediately and skincare products absorb more evenly afterwards. The treatment is careful and controlled throughout, and I talk you through each step so there are no surprises during your visit.

Will my hair grow back thicker after dermaplaning?

No. Dermaplaning does not change the structure of your hair follicles, so fine facial hair grows back with the same texture and colour it had before. That concern is a common myth. What does change is how smooth your skin feels and how evenly makeup applies, which is why clients return ahead of events and photo days.

How should I care for my skin afterwards?

Keep things simple for the first day or two: gentle cleansing, good moisture and daily sun protection while your fresh skin settles. Skip strong exfoliants and retinols briefly so the new surface is not overworked. I will send you off with clear aftercare guidance matched to your skin, and you can always message me with questions.
